How we work!
We offer a practical and high standard approach to patient care. Our appointment times are a minimum of 20 minutes where we like to think the client is never felt 'rushed' through the consultation process.
The morning of the working day is dedicated to consultations and if necessary some patients may require hospitalisation for further investigation.
In-House 'Work-Up'
Sometimes a consultation with your pet cannot always give a definitive diagnosis and further investigation may be required. Investigations can involve in-house blood tests, ultra sound, urinalysis, digital X-Rays and endoscopy. We can offer dental treatment and a wide range of surgical procedures.
Occasionally it becomes necessary to extend our in-house blood screen to confirm a provisional diagnosis with additional specific tests which are performed at an external laboratory.
We have a separate cattery and kennel area so cats and dogs do not come into contact with one another, reducing stress, particularly in cats.
Referrals
Over the years we have acquired the services of excellent referral specialists (orthopaedic, cardiac and ophthalmic etc) which we are on first name terms with for discussing cases and have immediate access to when required.
We also can recommend you to a registered and suitable pysiotherapist, hydrotherapist or chiropracter if the vet feels it would be beneficial to your pet and their condition.
